William Smith (20) and Connor Cox (17) are teaming up to produce a varied show at The Trades for Rotherham Hospice next Friday, April 28, at 7.30pm.

The pair, from Wickersley and Kimberworth respectively, are classmates at Airedale Academy in Castleford.

Several performing arts students will be taking to the stage on the night, with Connor set to perform some big ballads, and William showing off his stand-up comedy skills.

Williams said: “It will be a real variety — there’s a drag act, musical theatre, comedy — a bit of everything.”

Tickets are priced at £8 for adults and £6 for concessions — with some £12 VIP tickets including a bottle of fizz, also on offer.

Proceeds will be split between the hospice and a fund to help some of the performing students go to theatre schools in London.
