ROTHERHAM games fanatic Sazaline Watson has been getting to grips with the latest hi-tech gaming technology before it officially went on sale today.

Sazaline (19), who works at Gamestation in College Street, Rotherham, won the chance try out the new Kinect controller-free gaming system for the Xbox 360 in a national competition.

Kinect lets gamers play without the need for a hand control, using just their arms, legs, hands and head.

She went to Sheffield to try out the system and won a copy to take home.

Sazaline said: “I'm a massive gamer and have been excited about the launch of Kinect for Xbox 360 since I first heard about it.

“I'm so thrilled that everyone had a chance to try it out before it's available in the shops.

“I'm really happy that so many people came along to join in the fun.”
