Paparazzi head to Rotherham

To celebrate the town’s many trend setters The Rotherham Advertiser has teamed up with Bar Tryst to launch Paparazzi–our very own hunt for the high fashion.

HAVE you got the style of an A-list celebrity? Is your look worthy of the red carpet?

All you need to do is get dressed up to the nines and get down to Bar Tryst from 9pm  next Thursday, April 29, where you and your party will be papped on arrival and given a glass of champagne as you strut down the red carpet.

A selection of shots will be hand-picked by the paparazzi themselves and will be featured in a competition in The Rotherham Advertiser on Friday, May 7.

    Readers will be asked to select their favourite and you could be in line for a VIP prize worth around £2,000 should your glamour get the most votes.

    On the night, jazz and soul singer Rouhangeze will perform a live set of dance remixes from her album Alfa. She will appear with DJ Pat Freeston aka DJ Soul Jacker, a DJ/producer from Swallownest who remixed the track Clear Blue Sky which will feature in the performance.

    Many town centre businesses have joined forces to help bring Paparazzi to life.

    Which ever style-setter is photographed in the winning picture will win an exclusive prize package including:

    A new outfit from Internacional in Rotherham.

    Hair styled at Moorgate Hair and Beauty.

    A three-course meal at Rotherham's award-winning Cantonese restaurant, The Red Pepper.

     VIP treatment and champagne at Tryst followed by Pop Nightclub.
