Magic of Camelot comes to South Yorkshire’s Civic

TALES of Camelot will come to life on stage next week.

The award-winning Story Pocket Theatre presents King Arthur, Michael Morpurgo’s epic tale of magic and heroism, at The Civic in Barnsley on Wednesday, October 18.

See spectacular sword fights, a classic battle between good and evil, a moving, yet tragic, love story and super storytelling come together to create a memorable family show.

The well-loved stories of King Arthur, Queen Guinevere, Sir Lancelot, the Lady of the Lake and the sword Excalibur come to life in this exciting adaptation of the best-selling novel.

Imaginative physical theatre, charming puppetry and outstanding storytelling combine to create this Arthurian legend, which is most suitable for brave knights aged seven and over.

Tickets are priced at £9 for adults and £7 for concessions and are available on 01226 327000 or online at www.barnsleycivic.co.uk.

Performances will take place at 1pm and 7pm.
