Live music and sporting fun at Dinnington "party"

The second annual Party on the Pitch 2018 at the Dinnington Resource Centre, Laughton Road, will run from 10am to 9pm on Sunday.

The event will raise money for GIST Support UK — a charity which supports people with a gastro-intestinal stromal tumour.

There will be GIST over-35s six-a-side cup and an open age shield alongside 15 live musical acts, a hog roast, and outdoor gin bar.

Children can enjoy bouncy castles, an inflatable obstacle course, climbing walls and more

A spokesman said: “Twenty local teams have entered our football tournaments that will be played on four pitches from 11am-3pm, with the two finals being played on our main pitch between 2pm and 3pm.”

He added: “So bring your picnic blankets, camping chairs, dancing shoes, friends and come along early for a good spot for what promises to be the biggest event Dinnington has ever seen.”
