International choir comes to Goldthorpe

A HIGHLY-rated international choir is coming to South Yorkshire to team up with old friends.

Barnburgh Village Singers, a ladies’ choir, and Thurnscoe Harmonic Male Voice Choir will be hosts to the Donaghadee Male Voice Choir for the weekend of May 5-7.

The first of two concerts will be given at Goldthorpe Parish Church at 7pm on Friday, May 5, with flautist Simon Wood also on the bill.

The following evening at 7pm, the Donaghadee Choir will be joined by the Barnburgh Village Singers and the Thurnscoe Harmonic Male

Voice Choir for a combined concert of more than 100 voices at Wentworth Parish Church.

Seating is expected to be limited so advanced booking is advised.
