Heritage evening to focus on Mexborough's historic Hippodrome

Multi-faceted performer Mike O’Brien will speak to Mexborough District Heritage Society, at the Concertina Club on Dolcliffe Road in Mexborough on Wednesday (January 31).

Mike is a member of the society and also a writer, poet and performer. 

Secretary Bill Lawrence said; “Mike will be performing something around some of the famous artists who performed at the old Prince of Wales, later the Hippodrome Theatre.”

Entry is £2.50 for non-members, £1.50 for members and £1 for the unemployed.
