LOVERS of stunning gardens will be making their way to Tickhill this weekend as a green-fingered couple open up their plot which has achieved national fame.
This will be the 13th year in which Anne and Stuart Grindle have opened up their stunning garden to the public at 132 Doncaster Road to raise cash for good causes.
The garden will be open tomorrow (July 29) from 11am to 6pm.
Admission will be £4 with free parking nearby at Eastfield Farm, off Doncaster Road.
Proceeds from the event will go to three causes — the Isabella Reynolds fund supporting a local young girl who was born with an aggressive form of epilepsy, the Tickhill St Mary’s Parish Church General Fund, and Alzheimer’s Research.
Stuart’s dedication to his lawn — on which he spends 30 hours a week — has been featured on BBC TV’s The One Show and Gardeners’ World, as well as numerous newspapers and magazines.
