Girls' clever Trickii takes THREE top prizes: VIDEO

FOUR budding designers have scooped three national prizes with their imaginative spinning top game.

Leigh Roberts, Martha Gregory, Darcie Lacey and Casey Turner—all Year 9 pupils at Maltby Academy—designed the game as part of a challenge to create a leisure item.

Their Trickii Twister Max, which challenges players to negotiate a spinner through an obstacle course, won them awards for best design and outstanding achievement at the Big Bang Fair in London.

They were also runners-up in the National Science and Engineering Technology junior category.
