A GHOST-hunting group reported detecting “lots of noises” as they held a late-night hunt for spirits of the non-alcoholic sort at a former Maltby pub.
The Friends From Beyond Society spent Monday evening at Five Rivers Punjabi Grill, formerly The White Swan.
Group member Ty Downes said: “We now have lots of EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) evidence to go through.
“We heard lots of noises — footsteps, clicks and knocks — but came across nothing visual.”
The latest ghost hunt came a week after members of the group spent the night at the Edward Dunn Memorial Hall in Maltby, the HQ of Maltby Town Council.
Fellow member Andrew Pollard said: “We initially only used the hall for our weekly meetings but soon discovered it was home to paranormal activity.
“We have quite a bit of intriguing audio evidence recorded in the hall.
“Although we’ve been involved in the paranormal field for quite a while this was our first official all night investigation.”
Ty added: “Friends From Beyond Society was started in 2015 by my wife, Shirley Downes.
"It was originally started as an open circle workshop but the open circle was gradually phased out until we were just left with our paranormal group.
"We are the first ever group to be allowed to investigate Five Rivers Punjabi Grill, formerly The White Swan.
“Our aim is to visit places which have never been investigated and also to try and solve unsolved murders around Yorkshire by visiting the scene of the crime."
The next vigil is the Hotel Van Dyke at Clowne in Derbyshire on November 20.
