Fungi on the menu at Ulley Country park activity day

SPOT the grass snakes, go on a fungi forage and compete in the conker contest as Ulley Country Park holds an activities day on Sunday.

The picturesque parkland—reopened in August after £4.9 million repairs—will also host a picture display of the near-devastating 2007 floods.

And newly-published leaflet guide The Ulley Trail will also be available, to help visitors get the most out of their time there.

The Friends of Ulley Country Park will serve homemade refreshments at the visitor centre from 10am until 3pm.

Park rangers have organised a fungi forage from 10am to noon, and a conker competition will take place from 1.30pm.
