Fundraising night raises cash for homeless charity

STORIES, jokes and music combined to bring in £400 for charity.

The South Yorkshire British Naturalists’ Association (BNA)  Branch held a fund-raising evening of music and entertainment at Holy Trinity Church in Thorpe Hesley for homelessness charity Shiloh.

Pauline Rutherford from the BNA, said: “It was an old-fashioned variety Performance with music, jokes, an interview in Michael Parkinson style with Vicar of Thorpe Hesley, Rev Lynn Broadhead, stories and an illustrated talk about natural history in the local village.”
