Sam died in Rotherham Hospice in December 2008 and his family and friends wanted to thank the team there for the care that they gave to him.

He was good friends with comedian Billy Pearce who visited Sam at the hospice during his time there.

A spokeswoman for the hospice said: "Billy feels passionate about the hospice and is keen to do all he can in order to help raise vital funds for us."

The line-up also features Duncan Norvelle, Cannon and Ball, James Brandon,

Amen Corner, Safire Illusionists and Momentum Dance and Linda Newport.

Tickets are £20 and are available on 01924 442122.
