Tickets are limited for each event and go on sale tomorrow (Friday) at 10am at www.thisclassworks.com.

Clubland, a tribute to a working men’s club night, will be held at Crookes Social Club, Sheffield, on Sunday, July 15, at 6pm.

The weekly turn at the local working men’s club is becoming a thing of the past, with the decline of industry, and the same has happened to clubland.

For one night only, Pete will be opening the doors to Crookes Social Club for an evening of entertainment celebrating this golden age of night life. The bill for the evening includes Pete's own band, The Everly Pregnant Brothers.

Other acts on the night include compere Barbra Nice, magician Steve Faulkner and a very special surprise guest to be announced. Alongside these acts will be bingo and a meat raffle.

Tickets are £20 which also include a special limited edition McKee print to commemorate the event.

The Works Tour - A historical walking tour of Sheffield, starts at 92 Burton Road, Sheffield, at 11am on Sunday, July 28.

In association with Sheffield Walking Tours, The Works Tour explores Sheffield's own riverside secret island, where working class men and women toiled for long hours to create the metal goods and steel which created the reputation of the Steel City.

See historical factories, industrial machinery and the dynamic post-industrial revitalisation and transformation of the area into Sheffield's cutting edge residential, cultural, food and beer district.

Tickets are £10 and include entry to the exhibition afterward.

The Spirit of ‘45 - a film by Ken Loach, will be shown at the Showroom cinema, Sheffield, on Tuesday, July 17.  The film celebrates a period of unprecedented community spirit in the UK following the Second World War. Tickets are £9.
