AN AMERICAN anarchist will strum stirring songs of protest in the town centre next week.

David Rovics has been spreading anti-war, anti-corporate, musical messages since the 1990s, playing protests in over two dozen countries.

His biggest hits include I’m a Better Anarchist Than You, They All Sang the Internationale and Black Flag Flying.

David will appear live at The Trades for one night only next Tuesday, hosted by Love Music Hate Racism, as part of his Wobbly World Tour.

He will be supported by Sheffield songwriter Paul Pearson.

The show will start at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5 and can be bought on the door.
