Sixth planning application to expand Moorgate care home

Proposals for Moorgate Hollow, on Nightingale Close in Moorgate, were initially filed in 2009.

Park Lane Healthcare blamed the economic crisis for the proposals not coming to fruition, but still renewed its planning permission in 2012, 2105, 2018 and 2020.

The applicant’s current planning papers say the expansion would create four full-time and 28 part-time jobs.

The documents add: “The proposed extensions are part of a continual upgrading of the existing facility.”
