CHURCH SERVICES: The times and locations of Sunday services are – 1st and 2nd Sundays 10am at St Peter’s Church; 3rd and 4th Sundays 10am at St Leonard’s Church; 5th Sundays usually at St Leonard’s unless a change is notified in the newsletter.

 

ST GERARD’S CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL: Recently, the school had a one day visit by an Ofsted inspector. The official result will be made available soon. Some children attended a visit to Ulley. Class 4 Assembly – the class shared their learning about British Values, inspired by the Anne Frank exhibition. World Book Day – the winners of the Hot Seating competition were: Class 1 Fintan O’Halloran (Pinocchio)/ Nicole Cooney (Daisy), Class 2 Mia Joyce (Miss Trunchball), Class 3 Elisabeth Shadwick (Umpa Lumpa), Class 4 Aoibhe O’Reilly (Kruschmeister), Class 5 Aiden Manton (An Ordinary Boy). March 23 – a thinking stop reflection 9.30am. St Gerard’s Support Fund – the school asks for a contribution from each family of 60p per week, which can also be paid as £8 per term or £24 per year. Birthdays – Kieran Pogmore. 

 

ST LEONARD’S CHURCH: The church is open every Monday 10am-4pm until late October for the public to view inside the church.
