  • Died peacefully on Monday, February 26th, 2018 aged 81 years. Beloved wife, mum, grandma and great-grandma. For my Wife. Thank you for your endless love, That will help me through each day, And thank you for the memories, That will never fade away, You're the woman I loved, And I was proud to be your husband, And everyday in some small way, I will celebrate your life, As long as memories last, You will stay in my heart. — Your loving Husband Arthur xxx Mum. God saw you getting tired, A cure was not to be, He wrapped you in His loving arms, And whispered "Come with me." You suffered much in silence, Your spirit did not bend, You faced your pain with courage, Until the very end, You tried so hard to stay with us, But your fight was not in vain, God took you in His loving, Home and freed you from your pain. — Your loving Sons and Daughters and In-Laws Grandma and Great-Grandma. You can have one special grandmother, Patient kind and true, No other friend in all the world, Will be the same as you, To grandma you will return, For all her loving kindness, She asks nothing in return, As we look upon her picture, Sweet memories we recall, Of a face so full of sunshine, And a smile for one and all, Sweet Jesus take this message, To our dear grandma up above, Tell her how we miss her, And give her all our love. — Love from all your Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. The funeral service will take place at St Helen's Church, Treeton on Thursday, March 15th, 2018 at 1.45pm followed by burial at Wood Lane Cemetery at 2.30pm. Flowers welcome or donations if desired to the Butterfly Suite at the Rotherham General Hospital which can be made on the day of the funeral as a donation box will be available at the church or can be passed c/o Philip Gray, G.E.
