Woman dies following road traffic collision
A WOMAN has died after being airlifted to hospital following a two-car collision.
The 30 year-old woman was driving a black Citroen C1 when it collided with a black Kia Rio, which was driving in the opposite direction.
The incident occurred shortly before 2.50pm on Wednesday on Kilnhurst Road, near to the junction of Carr Lane in Hooton Roberts.

Hide AdThe Rotherham woman was airlifted to the Northern General Hospital but sadly died of her injures a short time later.
The 18-year-old man driving the Kia suffered minor injuries.
Any witnesses to the incident or anyone seeing either vehicle in the time immediately prior to the collision are asked to contact police via 101 and quoting incident number 591 of October 28.
