Burglars target Swinton homes

The Rotherham North Local Policing Team said two burglaries occurred on Greno Road and another on Fitzwilliam Street last Wednesday.

Two properties were left insecure by owners and entry was gained via downstairs windows.

Power tools and small electrical items were stolen.

A further two attempted burglaries were also reported around Broadway.

Police advised residents to make extra security checks on their properties, including garages, sheds, outbuildings and vehicles.
