'Sentimental' jewellery stolen in burglary

BURGLARS stole “high value” jewellery in a break-in at a home.

Two gold rings and six gold bangles were stolen from a house on Godric Drive, Brinsworth at sometime between 7pm and 9.15pm on Thursday, March 17.

A car was also stolen in the burglary but has since been recovered.

PC Tom Jordan, the investigating officer, said: “The jewellery is of highly sentimental value to the owner and I would ask people to keep an eye out for anyone who may be selling these distinctive items. 

“Two gold rings and six gold bangles were taken from the property.

“If you have any information about this incident, please call us on 101 quoting incident number 1167 of 17 March 2016.”
