Child sex abuse trial: Abuse suspect "had CID officer on his payroll"
The 30-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told police she met an officer several times at a flat where Hussain kept drugs and drug money - up to £100,000 at times.
Hussain would pay the detective for information on her whereabouts and to avoid being arrested, she claims.

The woman alleges that Hussain began having sex with her almost every day when she was just 15, plying her with alcohol and date-rape drug GHB.
She also claims that he repeatedly beat her up and threatened her life several times, including once at a reservoir in Derbyshire and once in Turkey.
When police finally agreed to move her to a safehouse, Hussain allegedly called and said he knew where she was going to be put.

“Bash called and told me what was happening and where I was going. He said he had someone in CID to tell him these things.”
She added: “He would give them money and they would tell him what was happening with me and stop him getting busted.
“I met this person from age 16 to 18 in an Aldi car park. I remember getting in his car with Bash.”
Hussain denies two charges of assault against the woman, one of indecent assault and one of making threats to kill.
The trial continues.
