Police appeal nearly 10 months after off-licence raid

Cash was stolen during the Booze Barn break-in at Church Street, Conisbrough, on April 6 or 7 last year.

Det Con Chris Lindley said: “We recognise this burglary occurred over eight months ago and our initial enquiries led us to believe a particular person was responsible.

“However, and following a number of financial checks and work with another police force, the focus of the investigation has changed and we need to identify the person in the CCTV footage.”

CCTV shows a man returning to the shop several times over three hours in trying to gain entry.

Anyone who recognises the man in the still is asked to call 101 quoting incident 116 of April 7, 2015. Information can also be emailed to [email protected].
