A police car was set alight on Church Street at 1.50am, followed by a Citroen Berlingo van on Valley Drive, a Ford Transit van on Vicar Road and a Mercedes A140 at Montgomery Square.

Firefighters attended each incident and a spokeswoman confirmed all were started deliberately except the Transit, which so far has no cause recorded.
