Warm Rotherham welcome for TV duo's 120-mile three-legged challenge

NEWSMAN Harry Gration and weatherman Paul Hudson spent the morning taking a stroll through Rotherham — but they weren’t here for sight-seeing.

The plucky pair strapped themselves together and set off on a three-legged walk which they hope will see them reaching York in ten days’ time.

The 120-mile 3 Counties on 3 Legs challenge through South, West and North Yorkshire is to raise money for Sport Relief.

The doughty duo started their gruelling walk in a drizzly Rotherham’s All Saints’ Square, where a crowd had gathered to give them a good send-off, before heading out of town through Greasbrough, Wentworth and on to Elsecar and beyond.

A large crowd gathered at Wentworth’s George and Dragon pub and pupils from Greasbrough Primary and St Ann's Juniors cheerily waved the two Look North presenters on their way.

The aim to reach Clayton West near Barnsley by this evening.
