Your chance to make the county's pool team!

TRIALS are to take place for South Yorkshire’s county pool teams for the forthcoming  season.

Organisers are looking ladies and juniors (U18s girls or boys) for the South Yorkshire County Pool Association teams. Home matches take place at Rotherham’s Players Sports with games against against other counties from Humberside, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. The winners go through to the English Pool Association national finals.

Trials for the ladies, juniors and seniors (O50s) are on Sunday, January 24, at Players Sports on Doncaster Gate, starting at 11.30am.

Men’s trials are on January 17 at the same venue and same time.

The county squad comprises of Men’s A, Men’s B, Ladies, Seniors and Junior teams, with 49 players competing on matchdays.

Last year saw the Men’s A and Ladies teams winning the regional finals and they now compete in the national finals in March.
