BARKERS PARK BOWLING CLUB: Barkers Park Bowling Club pavilion was once again vandalised on October 6 for the fourth time this year. If anyone has any information, contact the police on 101. The winter singles competition continued last week with Brian Scrimshaw, John Kirk and Lesley Scrimshaw progressing to Round 3.

 

KIMBERWORTH PARK CLUB 50+: The weekly indoor bowls took place on October 12 at The Forty Martyrs Church Hall. Also the Monthly Luncheon Club was held at the Black Hut, Kimberworth Park Road, where 45 people attended. The regular meeting of The 50+ Club was held on October 14 and 68 people attended when bingo, raffle, members loyalty draw and members treat took place. Free multi-purpose gym vouchers were given to those who wished to attend them at The Chislett Centre. Members were informed of the short walk project which would start at The Chislett Centre. This is part of the Healthy Living Project for older people to link in with. The group was also told there were still places for the trips to Coronation Street and Doncaster Races.
