Dinnington School students in line for media award
HOPEFUL young journalists from Dinnington Comprehensive School were in London today to find out if they have been successful in a national media competition.
The students were shortlisted in the Best Community Initiative category of the Shine School Media Awards, a national competition designed to promote development of publishing skills and generate interest in publishing as a career.
The winners were due to be announced today at the Stationers’ Hall in the City of London by Sir Christopher Meyer, a former ambassador to Washington, and representatives of the school were attending the ceremony.
