Thanks to Howard Webb, a real sport

Sir, May I take this opportunity through your newspaper to thank Howard Webb, for a superb performance on Monday night at Barnsley Metrodome.

I was attending the end of season football presentation and Howard was there to present the trophies to all the teams involved. He stood on stage, shook everyone's hand and smiled for a photograph with them.

He did this non-stop for two hours and then afterwards signed autographs and allowed more pictures, nothing was too much trouble for him.

What an ambassador this man is for football and for our town, would'nt it be great if there were more were like him. I would like to wish him all the best for the world cup and for the future.
