Teachers not to blame

Sir, I come from Rawmarsh. Went through the miners' strike and have seen all this before.

I still know a lot of people from Rawmish and some who work at RCS.

A drinking spree in a brewery spring to mind. If the school couldn't be run with 28 teachers on strike how are they to go on when the 34 go? God only knows. I'm sure he's looking down shaking his head at the sheer stupidity.

What about the council and governors? In this modern day, they can forecast population growth/ decrease.

These are the people who should be taken to account and not the teachers and staff at RCS.

This is only the tip of the iceberg as they gradually come for us all.

As other readers have commented, they've taken our steel and coal industries now they want our education.

The school is the lifeblood of Rawmarsh community. Take that away and you take away our future.

Our kids are our future.
