Private sector driving rents through the roof
Sir, In response to letter from the concerned resident from Canklow regarding social housing, may i say the need for social housing is paramount to address the private sector's monopoly driving house prices through the roof giving the private landlord the
Any private landlord with tenants on benefits should be given social rate of £60 per week for the property and not a penny more. Or we should build 20,000 social houses and force rent down.
