Possible end of Maltby Acadmy plans 'excellent news'

With regard to the possible axing of the new build for Maltby Academy (see Advertiser July 9),  as stupid as it sounds, it’s brilliant news!

Money has already been spent renovating the school, buying unnecessary equipment and the new compulsory ID cards/fingerprint system that’ll be introduced.

I can only imagine the axing of a new build is devastating to the headteacher, who seems to only be interested in money.

The school is fine as it is; at the most, finish renovating it is my suggestion.
