Not that spectacular when you realise that over 3,500 houses, almost all in Aughton, will suffer some level of “visual amenity impact” from the giant turbines.

Hide AdCouple that with the affect on the saleability of your house, the possible loss of your television reception and the nearly 2,000 cement mixer movements through the narrow country lanes (just to build the foundations) and many of us are left wondering why on earth we are even considering such a thing, that is only viable because we, the tax payers, are paying the huge subsidy that Banks will get to build them.
In years to come, I am sure we will look back on this as the “era of the wind farm scam”.
