Late hours for Wickersley coffee shop
A COFFEE shop and bistro has applied to open to 11pm — saying the longer hours are essential to the viability.
The Yard, on Bawtry Road at Wickersley, has been allowed the late finish several times a month using temporary events notices.
The venue said this had gone “without issue or objection” but it was not practical or financially feasible to continue in this manner.
Plans papers say the proposed change in closure times — currently 5pm on weekdays and 2pm at weekends — is “essential to the long-term viability and success of the established business.”
